Our Mission
The Pleasanton Heritage Association is dedicated to the preservation, enhancement, and celebration of Pleasanton's heritage buildings and neighborhoods in order to protect the historic character of the city and quality of life of its residents.
501(c)(3) public charity
Everything PHA does is paid for by memberships and donations, and done by volunteers.

How we get involved
- 1
Identify opportunities for preservation and enhancement of Pleasanton's heritage buildings, landmarks, and natural resources (trees, parks, landscapes).
- 2
Provide guidance to building owners, city officials, builders, contractors, craftspeople, and the public about issues impacting the preservation of Pleasanton's historic character and resources and the quality of life for its residents.

Encourage new construction projects and appropriate remodels that embrace high quality, historically appropriate architecture, thus expanding Pleasanton's core of heritage buildings and neighborhoods.

Collaborate with the City of Pleasanton to create and maintain an inventory of significant heritage buildings and neighborhood features, and to ease traffic circulation problems within heritage neighborhoods.

Serve as a resource of information for preserving, remodeling, renovating, and restoring heritage buildings.
- 6
Review proposals for the demolition of heritage buildings, landmarks, and natural resources.
