Heritage buildings

The houses we have commemorated

Each of these has been researched, documented, and marked with a bronze plaque mounted on the building itself. Most are private homes — please look from the street.

The inventory

1 building listed

PHA has commemorated far more buildings than are listed here. The full inventory is being compiled, and pages are added as each house’s record is confirmed. If you own a plaqued home and would like its page written, get in touch.

The plaque awards

Handing them over

Plaques are presented once a year, usually at the Museum on Main, with members of the city council who approved them.
