The houses we have commemorated

Each of these has been researched, documented, and marked with a bronze plaque mounted on the building itself. Most are private homes — please look from the street.

180 Spring St
Shawn and Dan Copenhagen did an amazing job restoring their 1904 home, saved from the wrecking ball. This was definitely a labor of love, and it now stands as an eye-catching beauty on the corner of Spring Street and Railroad Avenue.

217 St Mary St
George and Jeanie Emmett's Queen Anne cottage is the latest selected by the members of the Pleasanton Heritage Association.

225 W Angela St
Another Historic Resource is recognized by the members of the Pleasanton Heritage Association. This gem at 225 West Angela, owned by Mike and Kathy Knuppe, was carefully restored by the Knuppe family.
431 St Mary St
One of the city's 92 Historic Resources, 431 St. Mary Street was awarded a historic plaque by PHA with the date the home was built.

One of the city's Historic Resources, 4444 First Street was selected by PHA members to receive an exterior plaque honoring the year the house was built.

The Robinettes received a preservation award from the Pleasanton Heritage Association for maintaining their 1940 Historic Resource.

Handing them over

Plaques are presented once a year, usually at the Museum on Main, with members of the city council who approved them.
